Sunday sets the theme. Wednesday is where we go deeper into it, together, at every age in the house.
Why Wednesday
Our life together has a shape, and we describe it in three words. We Gather in worship and welcome. We Grow in prayer, faith and relationships. We Go in love and service. Sunday is our anchor, the day the whole parish gathers for worship. Wednesday is where we grow: around a table, in formation, and toward prayer, going deeper into the very theme that Sunday has set.

That means a family will no longer hear one thing in church, another in formation, and a third at home. Children, youth and adults spend Wednesday evening with the same story, told in the way each of them can receive it, and carry it back into the same house at the end of the night.

5:30 to 6:30 PM | Everyone
Drop in any time between 5:30 and 6:30 PM and sit with someone new or someone you know well. Dinner is a chance to get ready for the evening and connect with other members and visitors.

6:30 PM | Mothers of school-aged children
A gathering for mothers of school-aged children, where the conversation is honest about how hard it can be and where nobody is expected to arrive with everything under control. Come as you are, come late if the evening has gone the way evenings go, and come for the encouragement of other women who are in the same stretch of life.

4:00 PM and 6:30 PM | Adults
The Deep End takes what we began on Sunday and carries it into the middle of the week, so that the readings and the sermon are not left behind at the door but followed where they actually lead. The same session is offered twice, at four o’clock in the afternoon and again at half past six, so you may come to whichever hour suits your week. There is nothing to read beforehand, and if you missed Sunday you will still be able to follow.

6:30 PM | Kindergarten through fifth grade
Our children spend the evening with the same story the adults are working through, opened up through art, play, music and conversation. The aim is not to keep children busy for an hour while their parents are elsewhere. The aim is to tuck the word of God into their hearts in a way they will still be carrying at forty.

6:30 PM | Sixth through eighth grade
Middle school will join with the High School in the Youth Building for Bible study, worship, games and the kind of friendship that gets made when the same people turn up week after week. Bring a friend, because most of them do, and nobody will be asked whether the friend belongs to this church.

8:00 PM | Ninth through twelfth grade
High School youth will join Middle School youth in the Youth Building for Bible study, worship, games and the kind of friendship that gets made when the same people turn up week after week. Bring a friend, because most of them do, and nobody will be asked whether the friend belongs to this church.
