Realm
Our member portal: your giving, your details, and the place to tell us what you would like to offer.
Realm is the online tool St. Francis uses to stay connected with you, and for you to stay connected with us.
Through it you can manage your pledge and your giving, keep your own contact details current, decide who in the parish is allowed to see them, and keep up with the groups you belong to. It is the same system your giving statements come from, so what you see there is what the parish office sees.
It is free, it is yours, and nothing in it is shared beyond the parish.
Give and pledge
Make your annual pledge, give a single gift, set up a recurring gift, and see your own giving history and statements at any time.
Keep us current
Change your address, telephone number or email yourself, rather than waiting for the office to catch up with you.
Control who sees what
Choose, field by field, whether your details are visible to anyone in the parish, only to your groups, or only to staff.
Say what you can offer
Add your skills and your interests, so that the ministries looking for someone like you can actually find you.
Getting started takes about five minutes
One
Ask for an invitation
Realm accounts begin with an invitation sent to your email address. If you have not had one, or cannot find it, ask the parish office and one will be sent.
Two
Create your account
Follow the link in the invitation and choose a password. If you would rather begin now, you may start here.
Three
Put it on your phone
Search the App Store or Google Play for Realm Connect and sign in with the same email address and password. Everything below can be done on the phone or on a computer.
The part most people skip
Skills and interests
Realm lets you record what you are good at and what you care about. It is the single most useful thing you can do in there, and almost nobody does it.
At St. Francis we believe everyone should have a ministry, and we would rather that word did not intimidate anyone. At its root, ministry is simply anything we do to extend God's love beyond ourselves. It can be out in front or entirely behind the scenes, one person at a time or in a crowd, and it can happen in the church, in the community, or at your own kitchen table.
Filling in your skills and interests works in both directions. It helps our ministries find you, and it helps you find them. If you love the way the altar looks on a Sunday morning and you happen to have a gift for order and care, the Altar Guild may be waiting for you without either of you knowing it.
On iPhone
Tap the More button, the three dots at the bottom right. Tap your picture or initials at the top left, then My Profile. Scroll to the bottom for Manage Skills and Manage Interests. Tick your choices in each list and remember to Save.
On Android
Tap the three horizontal lines at the top left to open the menu, then scroll down to Profile. Scroll to the bottom of your profile for Edit Skills and Edit Interest. Tick your choices in each list and remember to Save.
On a computer
Sign in, then choose Serving from the list on the left, under Connect. In the section headed Skills and Interests, click the three dots and choose Edit. Tick your skills and click Next, then tick your interests and click Done.
Your details stay yours
Beside each piece of contact information there is a setting letting you choose who may see it: anyone in the parish, anyone in the groups you belong to, or church staff only. Set it to whatever you are comfortable with, change it whenever you like, and remember to Save at the top of the screen.
If you get stuck
Nobody should have to fight a website to belong to a church. If the invitation never arrived, if the password will not take, or if you would simply rather someone did it with you, please ask.
