We are St. Francis In-The-Field Episcopal Church, A vibrant family parish nestled within the rapidly growing St. Johns County. At the heart of our mission is a profound commitment to embrace and support all individuals, regardless of where they stand on their spiritual journey. Episcopal worship services at St. Francis create sacred space for us to rest and be renewed by God’s spirit. Beauty and music are sacred components of our liturgy. People of all ages are encouraged and welcome to participate in our worship.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

    8:00AM SUNDAY: IN-PERSON AND LIVESTREAMED

    The 8:00 am service in the Church is a Rite II Eucharist primarily of spoken with a blend of instrumental music to create a more contemplative environment. The goal of this service is to give space for those longing for some quiet and reflection while also participating in the sacraments.

    10:15 AM SUNDAY: IN-PERSON AND LIVESTREAMED

    The 10:15 am service in the Church is a Rite II Eucharist infused with energy and vitality. Choir/Organ/Hymnal music is blended with contemporary worship music from our Parish Song Book. Acolytes (altar servers) at this service include elementary - high school parishioners. This service uses the Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal, but an easy-to-follow worship bulletin is also provided with complete service information. A service designed for kindergartners through fifth graders occurs during this service, and then children can return to their parents to participate in Holy Communion if they wish.

    CHILDREN'S WORSHIP

    As part of our 10:15am Sunday service, we offer a safe, healthy, and nurturing experience for all children 0-5th grade.
    Children 0-3 can attend our nursery. 

    Children ages 4 to 5th grade are invited to a special worship experience geared just for them. We incorporate child focused methodology into our worship experience with these littlest of our church family, telling stories and engaging in activities or crafts to highlight the message being taught that day. Children return at the Peace, allowing parents to bring their children to the Communion rail to receive communion or a blessing and be part of the larger service.

St. Francis In-The-Field Episcopal Church welcomes all to come worship and build community with us. We believe we are all called to deepen our relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit through worship, fellowship, discipleship and outreach.

    THE REV. JUSTIN YAWN, RECTOR

    I began my tenure at St. Francis in 2022. Before accepting my current call, I served as Rector at St. Luke’s on the Lake Episcopal Church in Austin and at Christ Episcopal Church in Temple, TX. Before that I was Associate Rector for youth and families at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Enough about the boring professional stuff and here is a quick snapshot about who I am and my family.

    THE REV. KEVIN BRADLEY, DIRECTOR OF MINISTRY

    I began at St. Francis in July 2025, having served a variety of churches in the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I have been married to my wife, Jaye since 1989. We love and cherish our daughter Caroline and her husband Cameron. We miss and mourn our son, Brooks, who we lost in 2023.

    THE VEN. MARK RICHARDSON, DEACON

    I began my service at St Francis in November 2023. Father Justin Yawn extended an invitation to me during his Installation Service at St Francis. To his surprise I accepted months later. To my delight, Father Justin, Mother Sarah, and all of St Francis have welcomed me with loving arms.

    Prior to St Francis I served as Deacon at All Saint’s Episcopal Jacksonville for seven years. For the last four years I have also been the Archdeacon of the Diocese of Florida and served as the Bishop’s Chaplain.
